Paper Recycling Process

The process starts with you. 

  1. Paper is taken from the recycling bins from the city and our houses, they are deposited in  a large container ready to be baled and sent to a recycling plant. 
  2. The paper is taken to a recycling plant ready to be separated to diferent grades and types of paper.
  3. The separated paper is then washed with water to remove all impurities (ink, staples, glue, etc.) and a paper slurry is created.
  4. By adding diferent materials to the slurry, they can begin creating different materials such as newspaper, cardboard or office paper.
  5. The slurry is spread using large rollers and they create the rolls.
  6. The paper is left to dry and ready to be shipped and reused for making new products.
